We got an early start this morning and enjoyed a pleasant, uneventful, 3-hour flight to Chattanooga. As we approached, I was checking on the weather in Florida and it appeared to be holding. There wasn't much rain or thunderstorms activity and it was all offshore.
After discussing this with Michele, we decided to press on. Roland borrowed a car and got everybody lunch from Subway while I got the plane fueled up. Soon we were back in the air and heading home.
By the time we got to Florida, the thunderstorms had moved inland, so went a few miles offshore over the Gulf of Mexico and it worked out just fine. I love traveling, but it's always good to get home!
